Makoko Outreach – Hope Rising Initiative

The Makoko Outreach is one of Hope Rising Initiative’s impactful community programs, created to bring immediate relief and hope to one of the most underserved communities in Lagos. During this outreach, the nonprofit provided food support for 100 families and delivered free medical care to over 100 households, addressing urgent needs in an area severely affected by food scarcity, limited healthcare access, and poor living conditions. Through this initiative, Hope Rising Initiative continues its mission to uplift vulnerable communities and restore dignity, one family at a time.

Makoko Outreach – Hope Rising Initiative During the Makoko Outreach, Hope Rising Initiative delivered essential support to one of Lagos’s most underserved waterfront communities. The program achieved the following key outcomes: Provided food relief to 100 families, helping to combat hunger in an area facing severe food scarcity. Delivered free medical care to more than 100 families, addressing common health challenges and providing access to much-needed treatment. Empowered residents with practical information on healthier living, hygiene, disease prevention, and how to improve their overall quality of life. Strengthened community trust and engagement, creating a foundation for continued support and future development initiatives. Through these interventions, Hope Rising Initiative brought hope, relief, and renewed dignity to families living in extremely challenging conditions.
